Delivery Information
When placing your order, you can select a preferred delivery option available on our website at the time of ordering.
Before any order is dispatched, it must be reviewed and approved by a qualified prescriber to ensure the safety and suitability of the medication for everyone. This thorough review process upholds the highest standards of patient care and safety, it typically takes place within 48 hours prior to your delivery date, although during peak periods it may be as close as 24 hours before delivery.
To avoid delays, please ensure that all requested evidence and documentation are uploaded correctly and in good time.
Please note: We do not dispatch orders on weekends or public bank holidays.
Shipping Options
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your tracking number so you can monitor its status and location.
We offer three delivery services within the UK. When placing your order, you can select your preferred delivery date from the options available at checkout.
1. Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm
Guaranteed delivery before 1 pm on the next working day (Mon–Fri).
Signature required on delivery.
Cost: £7.99
2. Royal Mail Tracked 24
Cost: £6.99
Tracking provided at dispatch and delivery points.
You can update delivery preferences with Royal Mail to leave in a safe place, but please note this is at your own risk. We cannot replace parcels reported missing from a safe place if this option was selected.
3. Royal Mail Tracked 48
Cost: £5.99
Full tracking available.
You can update delivery preferences with Royal Mail to leave in a safe place, but this is at your own risk, and we cannot replace parcels missing from a safe place if this option was selected.
4. DPD Next Working Day
Cost: £7.99
Full tracking available.
Please note this is not guaranteed and may occasionally take up to 48 working hours.
Dispatch Cut‑Off Times
Orders placed before 12:00 midday (Monday–Friday) will be dispatched the same working day, subject to prescriber approval.
Orders placed after 12:00 midday, or on weekends or public bank holidays, will be dispatched on the next working day.
Important Conditions
Special Delivery is subject to successful and timely prescriber approval. If approval is delayed, dispatch may be postponed despite Special Delivery being selected.
Delivery times are guaranteed by Royal Mail, not by Bliss Pharmacy. We are not liable for delays caused by Royal Mail once the order has been dispatched.
Special Delivery does not operate on weekends or public bank holidays.
Customer Responsibility
By selecting Special Delivery, you confirm that:
Your delivery address, contact number, and recipient details are accurate and up to date;
You will be available to receive and sign for the parcel at the delivery address;
No safe place delivery applies to this service.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in a failed delivery, and standard Failed Delivery and Re‑Delivery fees will apply.

Northern Ireland, Jersey, other non-UK mainland locations, and northern Scotland
We can deliver to Northern Ireland, Jersey, other non-UK mainland locations, and Northern Scotland, please select Royal Mail Standard Delivery service (Tracked 24) AS DPD does not currently offer overseas delivery service. Please note that delivery may take up to 5 working days from your chosen delivery date.
Failed Delivery Policy
We aim to provide a seamless delivery experience. However, if a delivery fails due to incorrect address details, unavailability to receive the parcel, or circumstances beyond your control, the following policy applies:
Notification of failed delivery
If your delivery has failed, please contact us promptly so we can arrange re-delivery. DPD will usually attempt delivery again on the next working day.
Re-Delivery Fee
A £10 re-delivery fee will be charged for each subsequent delivery attempt. This fee covers logistics, handling, and re-routing costs.
Accurate Delivery Information
To minimise failed deliveries, please ensure your address, contact number, and any delivery instructions are correct. Any changes must be communicated to us at least 48 hours before dispatch. This will allow sufficient time for your shipping details to be updated before shipping labels are printed and dispensing commences.
Exceptions: If a failed delivery is due to circumstances beyond your control, we will review the situation and may waive the re-delivery fee at our discretion.
Safe Place Delivery Policy
By choosing a safe place delivery option, you authorise the courier to leave your parcel in the specified location without requiring a signature. Once delivered to this location, responsibility for the parcel passes to you, and Bliss Pharmacy is no longer liable for its safety.
Returns Policy
We understand that there may be occasions when you wish to return an item. However, due to strict UK legislation, medicines cannot be returned under any circumstances. This includes all prescription and non-prescription medications.
Proof of Delivery
Courier confirmations (such as photographic evidence, GPS data, or a scan confirmation_ serves as proof of delivery. Please ensure that your chosen safe place is secure and suitable.
Unauthorised Safe Place Deliveries
If the courier leaves a parcel in a safe place without your prior authorisation, we will investigate with the courier and work to resolve the issue or arrange a replacement, if appropriate.
Lost or Missing Parcels
Bliss Pharmacy is not responsible for parcels that go missing after delivery to a customer-authorised safe place. In such cases, customers must file a claim directly with the courier.
Optional Signed Delivery
For added security, we recommend choosing a tracked or signed for service at checkout, which requires a signature on delivery and avoids unattended drop-offs.
Compensation Claims
For parcels lost after being delivered to a safe place, you will need to initiate a compensation claim directly with the courier.
Customer Responsibility
It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery instructions, including specifying a secure safe place. Bliss Pharmacy will not be held responsible for the loss or theft arising from incorrect instructions or failure to collect the parcel promptly. You can update your details up to 48 hours before your delivery date in the Members Area on our website.
Missing Deliveries
If your delivery is missing due to an error on Royal Mails part, please inform us promptly so we can start a claim with Royal Mail. Once the claim is resolved, we will be in touch to discuss options.
Please note:
If you have requested delivery to a “safe place” and Royal Mail confirms delivery to this location, but the item goes missing, Bliss Pharmacy cannot offer a replacement or refund.
If your order is missing after confirmed delivery by Royal Mail, and no “safe place” instructions were provided, Bliss Pharmacy will not issue a replacement or refund.
